Grid and Pervasive Computing covers research issues and challenges in
the field of computer science and engineering in areas of grid and
pervasive computing. Grid computing connects computer resources from
multiple domains for solving computationally complex scientific,
technical or business problems in a distributed fashion. Pervasive
computing aims at creating computational devices and systems that will
blend into environment to support everyday human activities via
natural human computer interaction.GPC 2013 aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from
interested communities of grid computing and pervasive computing to
explore ideas and solutions to challenges in the areas of grid and
pervasive computing. Authors are invited to submit original,
unpublished research papers with the following topics, but not limited
to- Cloud, cluster and grid computing
– Mobile, peer-to-peer and pervasive computing
– Sensor and Ad hoc networks
– Mobile agents and networking
– Service-oriented computing
– Middleware, resource management, and runtime environments
